Talk to a room with a button, a key, the watch crown or a raise of the wrist, and see on the button what your mic is doing.

Hold sends while you press. Tap starts and stops with a press. Open mic sends only when it hears your voice.

Talk with the crown

What each device can't do, and why.
Each device is built around what it does well, so some features are left out of the others. KeyUp is in English only on every device.

Listening with the screen locked
A web page cannot keep the mic or the sound running in the background or on a locked screen. A Tap talk on iPhone ends after about 10 seconds in the background.
Instead Keep KeyUp open in front. Keep the screen on in a room is on by default.

No native app yet
On iPhone, KeyUp is the web app. Adding it to the Home Screen makes it open full screen and allows notifications (iOS 16.4 or later).

A web page cannot read the volume buttons, and the Push-to-talk key is for computers. KeyUp also cannot lower other apps' music while you talk.
