For work crews

The push-to-talk app for working crews.

Skip buying, charging and fixing radios. KeyUp turns the Android phones and Wear OS watches your crew already has into walkie-talkies, with a room for each team and a console for whoever runs the shift.

The short answer

KeyUp is a walkie-talkie app for business teams. Each crew gets a Space with rooms (dispatch, shipping, yard), people talk with one button on a phone, watch or computer, and the Space owner pays one flat price for the whole crew.

How it works.

  • A room for every team

Create rooms for each team or area, and listen to a second room a little quieter than your own.

    How to
  • Hands stay on the work

Talk from the watch with a crown turn, or keep open mic on with voice detection while you work.

    How to
  • Guests without accounts

Give a temp, a driver or a contractor a guest pass with a link or QR code. It ends on its own.

    How to
  • A dispatch console

Run the shift from any computer: monitor several rooms, talk with the Space bar, see who is on.

    How to
  • Keep your radios

Radio Bridge (beta) puts a two-way radio in a KeyUp room, so radio and app users hear each other.

    How to
  • Roles and control

Owners, admins and moderators, talk time limits, one-at-a-time talking, PIN rooms and reports.

    How to
The KeyUp talk screen on an Android phone while a crew member talks
Everyone hears the room.
KeyUp on a watch, on air
Talk from your wrist.
The KeyUp dispatch console with two rooms live
A dispatch console on any computer.

The honest limits.

  • Business (per person, $4 a month each for 26 or more people) starts with paid plans after the beta. Crew plans cover up to 25 people.
  • Radio Bridge is in beta and not yet tested with real radio hardware.
  • KeyUp needs Wi-Fi or mobile data. It is not an offline radio.
  • It is a work and family tool, not an emergency or safety device.

Questions.

How is this priced?

Free during the beta. After that: Free for up to 3 people, Family $5.99 a month for 6, and Crew from $24.99 a month for 10 people. The Space owner pays; members and guests never do.

Do my workers need to buy anything?

No. They use their own Android phone, a Wear OS watch, a computer or an iPhone in Safari. Invited members and guests never pay.

Can supervisors talk over people?

Rooms can be one person at a time, and owners, admins and moderators can be allowed to cut in.

Is our voice recorded?

Not by default. A room can turn on Rewind or transcripts, and each person decides whether their own voice is saved or transcribed.

Free during the beta.
