What the dots and colors mean

Green means here, blue means in another room, faded means offline, a red ring means talking.

What it is

Every profile picture shows where that person is right now, so you know who can hear you before you talk.

When to use it

Use it to check who is around, who is in another room, and who is offline.

How to do it

  1. Green dot: online and in this room. Blue dot: online in another room. Their line says where, like in #shipping, or in another room for a room you’re not in.

  2. Faded picture, no dot: offline. Tap them to see when they were last here, like Last seen 2 h ago. They stay listed in their rooms while they’re away.

  3. Red glowing ring: talking right now.

  4. On bigger pictures the dot has a small phone or watch icon, so you know what they’re using. Both devices show a two-screen icon.

  5. On the Talk tab, each walkie room shows how busy it is, like 3 in room · 5 online.

  6. In a room, tap See all. Under Everyone here you see who’s connected. Also in this room lists the members who aren’t, with where they are or when they were last seen.
