I’m not getting notifications

Check Android permissions, battery settings and your KeyUp choices.

What it is

Android can block or delay KeyUp’s notifications to save battery.

When to use it

Use this when messages or calls arrive without a notification. Try the steps in order.

How to do it

  1. Phone Settings › Apps › KeyUp › Notifications: make sure they’re allowed.

  2. Phone Settings › Apps › KeyUp › App battery usage: choose Unrestricted so KeyUp can stay connected.

  3. In KeyUp, check You › Notifications isn’t set to Only calls, and that the kind you’re missing is on under Notify me about.

  4. Check the conversation isn’t muted. See Mute a conversation.

  5. Check Do Not Disturb is off on your phone and watch.
