Calls in your messages

Every call shows up in the conversation as a short line. Tap it to call back.

What it is

When a call ends, KeyUp adds a line to your direct message with that person, or to the room’s chat for a room call. It says how the call went, from your side: Voice call · 3:24, Private call · 1:02, Missed call, Declined, Busy or Cancelled.

When to use it

Use it to see when you last talked to someone, spot a call you missed, or call them back in one tap.

How to do it

  1. Open the conversation. Each call is a small centered line with a phone icon and the time. A missed call is red. A private call has a lock.

  2. Tap a call line in a direct message to call back. If the call was private, KeyUp starts a private call again. Otherwise you choose Call or Private call as usual.

  3. The Messages list shows the last call too, like Missed call or Voice call · 3:24.

  4. On the watch, open a conversation to see the same lines. Tap one to call back.
