Close KeyUp and stay in the room
Swiping KeyUp away keeps you listening in your room. Open it again to talk.
What it is
Closing KeyUp doesn’t take you out of your room. If you swipe it away from recent apps, press Back, or Android closes it to free up memory, KeyUp keeps playing the room in the background. You hear everyone, and your mic is off.
When to use it
Use it when you want to hear the crew without keeping KeyUp open. Or read this if you closed KeyUp and still hear the room.
How to do it

Close KeyUp any way you like. The KeyUp notification says Listening. Open KeyUp to talk.

You hear the room as usual, with your volume and per-person settings. Your music still gets quieter while people talk.

To talk, open KeyUp (tap the notification or the KeyUp icon). You’re back in the room right away.

To really leave, go to You › Account › Stop KeyUp on this phone (on the watch, swipe up for Stop KeyUp), or sign out. KeyUp then stays quiet until you open it again. See Sign out, sign out everywhere, or stop KeyUp.
