Away: the yellow dot
After 30 minutes of not using KeyUp on any device, your dot turns yellow. You still hear everything. Turn it off with Show when I’m away.
What it is
Your dot turns yellow when you’re online but haven’t used KeyUp for 30 minutes. Using KeyUp means talking, tapping or moving around in the app, opening it, or sending or reading messages, on your phone, watch or the web app. Just being connected doesn’t count. The moment you use KeyUp again, you’re green (or blue) again.
When to use it
It tells people you may be slow to answer, so they know whether to talk now or send a message.
How to do it
-
Away changes nothing about what you get. You still hear every room, calls still ring and messages still arrive.

When you call someone who is away, or page them, KeyUp tells you (name) is away and may be slow to answer.

Don’t want people to see it? Go to You and turn off Show when I’m away. Everyone then sees you as online. The setting is shared by your phone, watch and the web app.
