Only my voice (for loud places)

A talk starts only for a voice close to the watch and well above the room. One setting for Crown, Raise and Open mic.

Only my voice makes the watch wait for a voice that is close to it and clearly louder than the room before a talk goes out. Bangs, machines and people talking nearby don’t put you on air. It is one setting shared by the crown, Raise to talk and Open mic, with a switch for each.

Watch

Swipe up, tap Settings › How you talk and scroll to Only my voice.
Turn it on or off for Crown, Raise and Open mic. Crown and Raise start on; Open mic starts off.
Tap Voice strictness to pick Relaxed, Normal or Strict. Strict wants your voice right at the watch and suits loud or busy places.
Tap Calibrate my voice, hold the watch to your mouth and say a sentence. The watch learns how loud you are. One calibration is used for the crown, Raise to talk and Open mic.

Phone

This setting is on the watch. The phone’s Open mic sends when it hears speech.

Good to know

Nothing is sent until your voice is heard, and what you said just before the talk went live is sent too.
In a quiet place it asks for a normal speaking voice. In a loud place the bar rises with the room, but never above your own voice, so you can always get through.
A crown talk allows for the watch being held in front of you, not at your mouth: a normal speaking voice starts it. A raise expects the watch at your mouth.
It adjusts by itself as you move around: the room is measured fresh each time the mic gets ready.
With Open mic switched on here, the open mic only opens for a voice near the watch, so hold the watch near your mouth when you speak. It stops sending 2 seconds after your voice stops, even if someone near you keeps talking.
Turned off for a talk style, that style goes back to starting on any clear voice.
Without Calibrate my voice the watch uses a standard level. Calibrating makes it fit you.
